Course Description

Scope of pharmacology, laws regulating the production and sale of drugs, various Sources of drugs and importance of microorganisms, microorganisms in drug spoilage, Microbiological standards in a pharmaceutical industry, antibiotics production from molds and bacteria,  synthetic and semi-synthetic drugs, action of antimicrobial agents, antibiotic synergism and antagonism, action of antifungal agents and disinfectants, testing the efficiency of disinfectants, sensitivity and resistance to antibiotics by microorganisms, production of vitamins and amino acids by microorganisms, dug tolerance, abuse and addiction.
